Titus Sparrow Park Summer Concert Series: Boston Music Project (Music Workforce Apprenticeship Program)
Every Wednesday evening from June to August, neighbors gather on the lawn to enjoy free live music, family-friendly activities, and a vibrant community atmosphere. Check out the event details below! Pre-show activities start at 5:30pm and music starts at 6:15pm.
About the Band
Boston Music Project showcases talented Boston Public School high school students participating in a summer music apprenticeship. This innovative program gives students real-world experience recording albums and producing live performances.
Pre-Show Activity at 5:30-6:15 PM: Children’s Music with Little Groove
Neighborhood favorite Little Groove will lead a lively, hands-on music activity for children ages 3 months to 4 years. Using live music, real instruments, and playful props, their experienced instructors create an engaging environment that supports early motor, social, cognitive, and language development.
Pre-Show Activity at 5:30 PM: Boston Music Project Instrument Petting Zoo
Join the Boston Music Project for a kid-friendly Instrument Petting Zoo before the concert. Children of all ages can explore real musical instruments with guidance from experienced teaching artists. Come early and let the kids discover their inner musician!
Bring a Blanket & Picnic!
The lawn fills up quickly—bring a blanket or chair, grab takeout from one of the many great local restaurants nearby, and settle in for an evening of live music.
