If you can help, please contact the names listed. Children's Summer Program: (Contact: Anne Bruntrager 617-262-2631). We have a few last minute details to take care of -- general supervision during the event, picking up donated goods, etc. Gardeners are needed to help with ongoing light maintenance and bulb planting. It is a fun way to enjoy the park and your neighbors. (Contact: Carol Fantozzi, 617-424-0049) We know there's lots of talent in this community. Not only do the Friends care deeply about the usage of the park, but many of our Board members bring their unique set of skills to make the park a better place. However, we've reached a point where we can use the help of 2-3 more volunteers in each of the the following areas. If you can help, please let Beth Schmieta at 617-536-1467 know. We'd be delighted to hear from you. We need: Graphic Designer (for printed material and/or web-site construction) Public Relations/ Editor (We would love to be able to submit an article/announcement to the South End News and Boston Courant on a regular basis. Any wordsmith out there?) Join our Advisory Board. If you have a great new idea, help us "implement" it by getting involved in the planning phase. Now that we have a beautifully renovated park on our hands, We encourage YOU to get involved. Don't forget. "The Friends" is an ever-renewing group of residents and park users, like you and me.
